Review - "My friend and I stayed in the King Edward for one night while visiting a friend in Banff. We chose the King Eddie due to it's location right on Banff Avenue, and the very reasonable price. We chose to share a room with one queen bed. The rooms are quite small, allowing for just enough space for the bed, a dresser, and a small table. Nothing spectacular, but it was very clean and our windows looked directly over the main streets of Banff. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but I couldn't complain. Service was friendly, though our only contact with the hotel staff was for checking in and checking out, so I didn't have much contact with them. It is a little noisy due to being on the main street, but it's also conveniently located above many restaurants and one of the popular clubs Hoodoo. Great basic room for a fantastic price in comparison to your other options."

The rooms had updated bathrooms (new fixtures, etc.), were very clean, with comfortable beds and even a loveseat in the room. Nicer than the usual open off the parking lot motel rooms."

Review - "I checked into the Parktown on January 4th and checked out on January 6th. I was there alone for business. I had a room with a single queen bed which was very comfortable. I had an approx. 40" t.v., mini fridge. Everything was great, I slept good, hot shower in the morning...I even had secure underground parking where it was +10 (and VERY cold outside). It was easy to get to the room from the parkade."

Review - "This Historical Landmark is one of the cleanest establishments we have ever stayed in! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Inn is beautifully decorated with antiques and period themes. The home used to be a "a house of ill repute" and they have pictures of the previous Madam. Today they have many modern conviences but still hold onto the nostalgia such as the clawfoot tubs, period fabrics, old fashioned phones, etc... We stayed in the "Lipstick Suite." The refridgerator held complimentary sodas, waters, and there was coffee, tea, cream, etc... Nice little touches likes chocolates. There wasn't anything I didn't like about this Inn, it was perfect for us. They also had port wine & cheese in the late afternoon after arrival. There is no breakfast. They have a pub/food but is not open Sunday or Monday. The liquor store is not open on Sunday or Monday either but there are other establishments that serve."
