Summer Cancellation Policy
Your stay will be secured with a 25%
deposit. This deposit secures your stay. The remaining amount
is due upon arrival. However, if you do not show up for your reservation
or if your cancellation is less than 7 days prior, the remaining
amount due will be charged to your card. Our cancellation policy
requires a 30 days' notice. If you cancel more than 30 days prior
to your stay, the entire deposit less a 20% transaction fee will
be refunded. If cancellation notice is given 7 - 30 days prior
to your stay, you will be charged 50% of the total amount, which includes your initial 25% deposit. Refund request must be
in writing. A cancellation letter will be sent with cancellation
number for your benefit. Your satisfaction is absolutely guaranteed.

A Personal Note
While our cancellation
policy is clear and precise, often times we work with our customers
in a more individual manner. For example: At times in the past,
I have had a customer cancel for whatever reason. Let’s say
Mr. John Doe has a reservation for next Friday and he is way outside
the comforts of a cancellation policy. The rate for Friday is
$165, so he will owe $165! Ouch! However, What do you know, Thursday
night I got a call for a cabin on Friday, but he didn’t want
to pay $165! That’s out of his budget. Instead of saying,
“Okay, see-ya!” I offered a discount ($150) because
we just had someone cancel for that day. Well everyone is happy.
Mr. Doe only owes the $15 difference because we were able and
willing to book his room. The new customer is happy because he
got a discount! Now while I can’t guarantee it will always
happen like that, I will guarantee that we will do our best to
look after your needs. You are our customer and we want to keep
it that way.
